Armenian handball team, leaving ahead only Russian representatives, took the second place in the handball third International tournament for RA Prime Minister's Cup taking place in “Mika” gymnasium, Yerevan where Russian, Georgian, Uzbekistan teams participated.

The matter was discussed and the decision was not changed by reason of having a goal to give opportunity to the young players to play in this competition.
It’s known that Armenian Handball Federation was given equipment and 150 balls as encouragement.
